By now you all know of famous Chef Sonia El-Nawal! Chef Sonia is the owner and proprietor of Rooster Boy Cafe here at Lakeside Event Center, and she continues to find ways to operate her business while also helping the community during these challenging times. We recently discussed how she pivoted her business model to expand her offerings so her clientele could purchase other household and necessary items while they picked up her wonderful cooked goods.
With all of us basically in quarantine at this time, Chef Sonia, in conjunction with the great folks at SecretBurger.Com, is putting on a Live “Cook From Home With Sonia”. The event is set for 2 PM on Tuesday, May 5th, and Chef Sonia will be demonstrating how to cook Tostado’s & Churros!
Each participant will purchase a package of ingredients, which will be available for pickup at the restaurant from 10 AM – 1 PM on the same day! Here are the basic details:
